For a small moment I have forsaken thee: but with great mercies will I gather thee.

In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment,but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith The Lord, Thy Redeemer.

O My God, I thank You for all the benefits which I have ever received from You, and especially this day.

Give me light to see what sins I have committed, and grant me grace to be truly sorry for them.

Dear God, You have said to us in Your Son, Jesus Christ, “Ask and you shall receive.” I thank You Lord for answering my very poor prayer. I have not deserved to be heard and yet, You always hear me and favor me with Your Blessings. I have knocked and You have opened the door of Your Heart.

Thank You, Dear God.

So often, Dear Lord, have I sinned against You that I am not worthy to be called Your child. And yet, You continue to answer my prayers. Forgive me, and bestow upon me the best of Your Gifts that will work for my salvation. Help me, Almighty and Loving God, not to misuse or abuse Your created gifts, the possessions You have given me, the opportunities offered, in such a way that these be for my own condemnation.

Rather, Lord, may every good gift coming from You, The Father Above, be unto Your Honor and Glory, and my salvation, and that of the whole world, through Jesus Christ, Your Only Son Our Lord, who lives and reigns, in the Unity of the Holy Spirit, world without end.

Amen

And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commands which I command you this days to love The Lord Your God.

And to serve Him with all your heartand with all your soul.

Deuteronomy 12:13

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of people most miserable.

1st Corinthians 15:19

My Lord My God. Once more I approach the alter to receive You sacramentally. Once more I am Priveliged to receive you, the Most High God in whose all Holy preserves the Saints and Seraphim reside.

Once more I go to receive You, the touch of Whose garments alone healed the sick.

What shall I do to prepare for Your coming?

O My God, My Redeemer, how is it that You desire to confer on me this great favor?

Behold, I offer You my tears of penance and love. Deign to accept my heart and my will.  I ask for many things – Give us this day our daily bread, forgive us our sins, lead us not into temptation, deliver us from evil. Preserve from harm our Holy Church, direct our Holy Father, the Pope: be merciful to all the faithful, enlighten the unbelievers.

Bless my parents, my brothers, my sisters, all my friends, my enemies.

Do You, My Heavenly Mother, accept my thanks for your wonderful intercession? Be at all times my refuge and my consolation.

My Holy partners, whom I have chosen as intercessors at the throne of The Most High, come to my assistance.

O My Holy Guardian Angel, My faithful guide, accept my tears of repentence and present them to my Judge and to My Redeemer.

And He shall send His angels

With a great sound of a trumpet.

And they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to another.

Matthew 24:31

I know there have been angels

That have protected me

When I ventured into harm’s way

And was too blind to see.

I know there have been angels

That were sent to  save the day

When I needed help so desperately

I was afraid to pray.

Our lives are filled with miracles

We can’t explain away.

When a divine intervention leaves nothing more to say.

Oh, how we take for granted the blessings we receive

Because we have too little faith to accept what we believe!

I know there have been angels;

I know there will be more, and more,

And gladly I’ll receive them

When they knock upon my door.

O My God, I believe in You. O My God, I hope in You. O My God, I love You, above all things. I adore You, here truly present, with all the Angels and Saints. I am unworthy but remembering Your infinite goodness I come to You with greatest confidence.

Give me grace to know my sin, to be heartily sorry for them, to make a sincere confession of them, to obtain forgiveness of them, and to sin no more.

O Holy Spirit, You came down upon the Apostles. Come down also upon me at this all-important moment.

Help me to make a good confession and to be reconciled to God.

You, O Lord, are a God Merciful and gracious. Slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness…

Show me a sign of Your favor, so that those who hate me may see it and be put to shame, because you, Lord have helped me and comforted me.

Psalms 86: 15-17

The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and deliver them.

O taste and see that the Lord is good; Happy are those who take refuge in Him.
